Due to the continued expansion of MM Hire Ltd, the decision was taken during the summer of 2012 to make available a number of official Marquee Hire Network areas within the East Midlands to members of staff who previously worked at Head Office. In October 2012 Mini Marquee Hire East Midlands Ltd was formed.

Mini Marquee Hire Sheffield is primarily operated by Michael White, here is his story…

“My story began when, at the age of 17, I left the first year of Sixth form and joined Mini-Marquees. 15 years on I’m still here doing a job i really enjoy in a fantastic workplace.  When the opportunity arose for me and my Partner Claire to take up one of the areas within the Marquee Hire Network we both agreed that it was a good idea as Claire currently works in Sheffield it made sense to use our knowledge of the area.

Over the past 4 years or so I’ve been involved in going out and about setting up and collecting hire jobs around the UK and so it’s nothing new.  With the work being seasonal it will not intrude too much into my normal day job with is doing the design & quotes for the manufacture of Marquees.

My main role in Mini Marquee Hire East Midlands will be more office based, putting to use my knowledge of blogging, marketing and social media, rather than out in the field.

I’m really looking forward to working with 3 other people who I not only think of as colleagues but also good friends.  I feel that between us we can make a real success of this joint venture.”  Michael – Mini Marquee Hire Sheffield
